It's been a while!

It goes without saying that it has been a while. After Hurricane Sandy, the importance of this blog probably increased ten fold as lives were forever changed on the East Coast where this blogger resides. You probably have realized that this blog has a new name.
I decided to take a new approach to this blog!  It became apparent that rather than looking at thiss world as "a girl in a big world"--perhaps I should look at it in a different light. Sure, my stature may fit the bill for this blog's title, but there needs to be more of a title to reflect my current state of being. "Coloring Outside of the Lines" basically is me. Aside from doing this all through childhood, I often walk to the beat of my own drum and do what I feel in the moment. I take views that are sometimes unpopular, and just genuinely try to do what is in my heart. Sometimes it works--some times it does not. 
 

Starting very soon instead of my James Joyce style of stream of consciousness--I have decided to focus this blog on environmental law/issues, animal rights and laws, political discussions, and maybe a plug here or there with environmentally conscious city living. 

Hope you stay tuned to the new changes--and not just cosmetic ones. I'll also be adding links on a new Twitter account as well. As always, I hope you will continue reading!
